Product Review and Giveaway – Carissa Rose Shirt

Carissa Brown of Carissa Rose would like to give one of  you – yes you the chance to win, a shirt from their range of shirts for the fuller busted woman.

Here is a little video of me wearing the shirt and talking about it.

Sizing on the website is accurate and easy to follow too.   To let you know, I’m 5’6″ (169cm) tall and have average length arms for my height.  The sleeves of this shirt are a great length for me.

For your chance to win leave a comment for 1 entry, tweet the competition and receive 2 chances in the draw.

Competition closes COB Friday 30 July 2010, winner announced Saturday 31 July 2010.

  1. Both tweeted and commented!
    Yay full busts!

  2. cupcakesofkensington says:

Finally a shirt that suits women with bigger boobs!! I have to wear oversized shirts that make me look really big around the waist too!!

  3. Sounds like a great shirt!

  4. Emma Watt says:

Hi Imogen, I'm looking for shirts at the moment as I have a paucity of great shirts for work. I hate it when lovely shirts gape across the bust, it's embarassing and distracting, clients don't know where to look and it makes me look 'cheap'. So a shirt that fits would be super!

Besides, if I'm getting gorgeous new boots (see my FB page) then I really need a new shirt to top the package off ;-)

  5. Virago Girl says:

My immediate thought – va va voom! What a stunnning top. Sure beats the oversized, overstretched tops currently populating my wardrobe…

  6. Ann-Marie says:

    Yes, want, want, want one!

  7. Wow! what a great idea and great styling! I would love to enter the drawing for one of the blouses.

PS–the second link ("a shirt from their range") is pointing to a different website )

  8. Entry 1 – comment

funnily enough, my reaction when I saw the blog post but before I read the words was – oh no, not one for me as every shirt I try on gapes

Hoping you have opened this giveaway to the UK

  9. Entry 2 – tweeted – @lalheg

  10. Pearlaceous says:

Seriously?! I would love to own a shirt that fits – have *never* had one and in fact have never worn a shirt at all since my schooldays (baggy shirt and tie tucked into pleated skirt – yay great style statement lol!) My problem is I'm slim and I have a little ribcage but I also have boobs – 30E bra – and am also shortwaisted. Must investigate the Carissa Rose website!

  11. Can't afford one, so would like to win one.

  12. Brianna says:

Tweet + Commenting complete! :) I would love one of these shirts. I've been drooling over them for about a year now.

  13. Ah! I've been wanting to try these! Just haven't had the money. Thanks for the opportunity!

  14. suzanne says:

    sounds like a wonderful idea!

  15. Jesslyn says:

And you don't have to be THAT buxom to have pulling and gapping problems. I'm a C cup, not overly full, and have such a problem finding shirts that don't pull at those bust buttons.
Never heard of these before so this is a great giveaway! I really like the contrasting collar and cuffs on the Justina and love the not-too-short sleeves on the Hannah!

  16. Anonymous says: also has a nice selection of shirts, dreses and even jackets for BBW.

  17. Victoria says:

I've perused the Carissa Rose website in the past and, aside from entering the giveaway, am very keen hearing more about your experience wearing the shirt! Would love to actually be able to find a shirt that fits without gaping. Can you tell us how it fit you in the arms and the length of the sleeves?

  18. this is amazing! I always have a hard time finding a shirt that works for my large chest and smaller waist! I have to wear a small but then it is always pulling at the chest!

  19. I've been curious about these shirts. I almost never wear button-front shirts because of the gaping. I've checked out their website before but haven't pulled the trigger. It was persuasive to hear your testimonial about the hooks and eyes, princess seams and the nice fabric.

  20. MaggiesMum says:

I've only recently discovered your blog, and I have been voraciously reading all your old posts! I have been curious about Carissa Rose because shirts NEVER fit my 34FF bust. Thanks for all the advice.

  21. Thank you, thank you for this contest! I too have a large bust and as a result have only one (oversized) button-down shirt in my closet. Hooray for shirts that fit!

  22. Belle de Ville says:

That shirt is gorgeous…and it would fit! I love the white collar and cuffs.

  23. What an exciting range…. and sizing that makes sense! (I would be an MR) Imagine owing a shirt that fits bust and waist …

  24. ElanorMarije says:

Me me me!! Ohhh I've been wanting one of these for a while!

  25. Anonymous says:

Hi Imogen, I'm studying to be a librarian and intend to fully embrace the "stereotype" – pencil skirts, white blouse, glasses etc….but I plan on putting my own stylish, but feminine spin on it and this shirt would do nicely as a foundation garment!

  26. T @ The Happy Clipper says:

    Sounds like a good shirt!

  27. Breanna says:

Oh, I love those shirts. I've been wanting one since I heard of them.

  28. Wow, I had no idea this company existed. This is fantastic news for us full busted girls!

  29. Sounds amazing! A button up without the gaping. Amazing!

  30. Thanks for giving us this opportunity.

  31. Thank you for this opportunity to win a beautiful blouse

  32. Andromeda says:

Tweeted (, commented, and coveted. Oh my.

  33. Gorgeous blouse! I tweeted this entry!

  34. Would love to wear a shirt that fits, everywhere! Thanks.

  35. I love the shirts! Thank you. I also enjoy reading your tips.

  36. *fingers crossed*
Love the shirts, wish they were more affordable!!!

  37. Grace @ Sense and Simplicity says:

It's funny but my husband was just commenting that I don't wear many shirts, which is true. I think I need to expand that part of my wardrobe. Thanks for the giveaway.

  38. Those shirts look very yummy!

  39. Commenting, and tweeted. I'd love to have a shirt I don't have to alter!

  40. This would be PERFECT :-) Good luck everyone!

  41. Betherann says:

  42. I know too well how hard it is to find a shirt that fits well. Big boobs and small waist – the best recipe for not wearing shirts.
    PS: Love the blog!

  43. adornedunicorn says:

Count me win! The shirts look adorable!

  44. Anonymous says:

I just found your b log and love it! This shirt looks fabulous. I'm so tired of wearing shirts that hang like maternity clothes off my chest.

  45. Darlene C. says:

I love my Justina shirt. I'm shorter than Imogen, so I'm planning to make a few alterations that I describe in my blog here:

Even if we have to make alterations, it makes a BIG difference that a shirt has been constructed specifically for our shapes.

  46. A buttoned shirt for full busts – yay!

  47. Sounds like a great shirt and I LOVE the cuffs!

  48. piggie1230 says:

Not posting for me, posting for my sister. She had to get her bridesmaid dress in a size 12 and then had the waist altered to a size 8. It would be great if she could have a shirt that she could feel comfortable showing her self off in

  49. I've never felt great in shirts they never seem to fit nicely around my bust! I need to wear cammi with shirt open.
This might be the new shirt for me!
